Sanivy guide · NDIS & funding
How NDIS continence product purchasing works
The purchasing steps depend on how the participant’s plan is managed and who receives the invoice.
Sanivy supplies continence products as recurring 28-day subscriptions. This guide explains the purchasing mechanics only.
Sanivy does not determine individual NDIS funding eligibility. Whether a purchase can be funded depends on the participant’s plan, their management arrangement and their circumstances. Confirm current requirements with the NDIS, the plan manager or the support coordinator before ordering.

What Sanivy supplies
Sanivy supplies recurring 28-day continence supplies: Independent supplies built around adult pull-ups, and Supported supplies that combine tabbed briefs, protective underpads, continence wipes, nitrile gloves, foaming cleanser and barrier cream.
Self-managed
The customer generally pays Sanivy directly, receives the supply, and keeps the itemised invoice for their own records and claiming where the purchase is eligible under the plan.
Plan-managed
The participant or their representative confirms the intended purchase with the plan manager first. The agreed payer receives the itemised invoice, and the supply is delivered to the confirmed address.
NDIA-managed
Different provider registration and purchasing requirements can apply to NDIA-managed plans. Contact Sanivy before ordering so the available pathway and invoicing arrangement can be discussed for the specific situation.
Who pays and who receives the invoice
The paying party and the invoice recipient are agreed before a supply starts.
| Arrangement | Who typically pays | Who receives the invoice |
|---|---|---|
| Self-managed | Participant or representative | Participant or representative |
| Plan-managed | Plan manager | Plan manager |

What to confirm before ordering
A short checklist keeps the purchase straightforward.
- • How the plan is managed
- • Whether continence consumables are covered by the plan
- • Who should receive the invoice, and their contact details
- • The delivery address and any access instructions
- • That a recurring 28-day supply suits the arrangement
Important limits
Sanivy cannot approve funding, guarantee that a supply will be funded, or advise on plan eligibility. Funding decisions rest with the NDIS and the relevant plan management arrangement. Speak with an appropriately qualified health professional about individual health needs.
